Chateau Fieuzal situated in Pessac-Leognan, Grave region named from the gravel-studded soil. Both Graves and Fieuzal are reputed to produce some of the best white wines in Bordeaux, but Fieuzal's reds are equally good. In 1959 they were awarded the official status of Graves Grands Cru Classé wines.
Over 400 years only six families owned Chateau Fieuzal named after the family who owned the property up to 1851. In 2001, Brenda and Lochlann Quinn purchase the estate of 75ha (10ha for white) and Chateau Fieuzal entered the Wine Geese family.
Since 2001 The Quinn Family have been continuously improving the vineyard and installation until the inauguration of their new wine cellar in 2011.
In 2006, The Quinns brought on board the well-known wine consultant Hubert de Bouard and hired the very talented Stephen Carrier as winemaker in 2007.
Chateau Fieuzal is currently producing two wines, Chateau Fieuzal and a second label named L'Abeille de Fieuzal.
